Guess who's back?

Back again.... Random's back, tell a friend.

I have been on a little bit of a hiatus, and not by choice. In the past 2 weeks, I had the flu, got in a wreck, became a one vehicle family for a while, soccer started, art class started, our internet quit working and the coronavirus started... and we already had our regular work schedules, school, piano lessons, church, and other prior responsibilities and obligations. WAY TOO MUCH! But now we have been forced to slow down... everything is closing and we are told we need to stay home. I don't like the reasoning behind all this happening but I am thankful for the slowing down. There's no school, which means homeschooling my oldest for a while, but we will get through it and come out stronger on the other side. Church has been cancelled but we have figured out ways to connect while being distanced. For now work continues but is not as draining without all the other distractions of life. I know longer have the flu, and by some wonderful miracle, no one else in my household caught it. We now have two vehicles at home and don't have to share, which was way more difficult to do than I thought it would be. Soccer was cancelled and it broke my daughters heart, but her team had a winning season of 4-1. Art class was also cancelled and is supposed to pick back up, if and when school is back in session. The one activity that wasn't cancelled is piano. My daughter will still be doing that once a week since it is a one-on-one session. I am so thankful for this so that we can get a little bit of a change of scenery.

This is also causing our family to spend more time together. I am hoping that through this, we will come out of it stronger as a family and that our relationships with one another will benefit. I am also hoping to try out some new cookbook recipes, read lots of books, watch lots of movies, and catch up on my tv shows.

How is your family going to spend this time in quarantine? Let's all remain positive and help each other out! If you have any fun ideas for activities, book recommendations, movie or tv recommendations, etc. share them in the comments below! I would love to have some more ideas and books, movies, and shows to put on my list!
