Revisiting Narnia (sort of)

Lately my oldest daughter, who is seven years old and in the first grade, has been obsessed with "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" movie that Walt Disney put out years ago. I am talking she watches the movie every single night as she is going to bed. This progressed into her checking out an illustrated copy of the book from her school library so many times that she has to wait to check it out again so that others can read it.
Her birthday was the first week of February and one of her gifts was the box set of the Chronicles of Narnia series. She was so excited. I have never seen a kid so excited about a gift. The books are still a little hard for her to read alone, so I have started reading the series with her. We started with the first book in the series The Magicians Nephew last night. Now, I have to confess, I have read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and I have seen the movie a few times, but I have never read any other books in the series. Y'all! I am seriously regretting it now. We are two chapters in to the Magician's Nephew and I am ALL IN. Children exploring empty attics, mysterious rings, a very strange uncle, and people who have disappeared. I have had to make myself stop from reading ahead. I could read ahead without her, but I want to experience the surprise of each twist and turn along with her.
What books have you read with your children that you enjoy? Or what books would you suggest for my daughter and I to read together?
