Obligatory First Blog Post

I feel like this is the hardest part. The beginning, the first post, getting started. I have thought about doing this for a long time and just didn't know where to begin. So many ideas float around in my head and 90 percent of time, if not more, I never do anything with them. I have decided that I am going to do better than that in this new year, new decade, and act on my ideas and my dreams, instead of just letting them fall to the wayside and be forgotten. So without further ado, I am Random Reader. I like the anonymity aspect for this blog. I don't know why but I feel it adds to my blog. I am just a random person that likes to read and write and wants to share that with the world.

I will be reading as much as I can and sharing reviews of the books that I read. I may also review other things such as movies, video games, music, etc., that's part of the randomness of me and of this blog. I have two kids, who both love reading, so I will likely review Children's book titles also.

If you are here and have read this far, welcome! I am open to suggestions of books to read to review.
