All I Want to do is Read

Its a rainy, nasty day today. Its not cold but its also not warm. There seems to be a chill in the air but that could just be me... after all, I have heard others remark that it almost feels like summer, which is crazy because it is only February.

Today is the type of day that I just want to put on my comfy pajamas, grab a blanket, fix me a cup of coffee or tea, and just read all day long... until I grow tired of reading, which rarely happens, but sometimes it does, and then I just turn on Netflix and finish binge watching my latest obsession. My heart is yearning to do this today, but I can't. Kids need to be taken to school and picked up. Homework needs to be done. Housework needs to be done. Meals need to be cooked. Then lastly baths and bedtime. Maybe, just maybe when bedtime rolls around, I can squeeze in 30 minutes or even an hour of something that resembles part of that day that I longer for. If not, it will be okay, that time will come again eventually. For now there are more important things.
